My friend sent in a pair of Breathe Free II's last week. He got his voucher today for $128.00 for a pair of shoes that was only $110.00. Does Nike include tax or something? That's the only thing I could think of. But if they did, it wouldn't be one hundred twenty-eight even. There would be nickles and dimes. I'm wondering because I sent in my Air Max Breathe Cage II's two days later and want to know how much I should be expecting. Thanks.

I know when you ship in the Breathe Cage II you get a 128 dollar voucher. Maybe they mixed up which shoes you had.

They add in the cost of tax and shipping to the voucher amount. That's why it's $128 instead of $110.

Nope, I highly doubt it. It says very specifically on the warranty card that you have to send in the receipt. For one, how would they know when you bought it without a receipt with the date of purchase on it? You could have bought the shoes 2 years ago and have been wearing them ever since. Second, how do they know you didn't steal the shoes? And lastly, I think only shoes purchased from an authorized Nike dealer qualify so they need to check to see where you got them from.

hmm, that's interesting, my voucher was only for $110 when I sent in my cage I's. Perhaps they only reimburse the shipping if you bought from an online retailer? I bought mine in a shop.

Nope, I also bought my BFII's in a store and I got a $128 voucher. Perhaps the Cage I's are on sale on Nike.com because the vouchers can only be used on Nike.com?

I got my cage I's from a nike factory outlet store for $60. Will nike send me a $60 voucher if my shoes qualify, or enough for a new pair?

They should send you enough for a new pair.

When you say enough for a new pair, do you mean a full retail priced new pair.

Enough to buy a replacement pair on Nike.com because the vouchers can only be used on Nike.com and not anywhere else.

I am going to be sending in my cage I's, and just noticed that nike.com doesn't sell cage I's anymore. Would they just send me a voucher for the newer cage II's?

The voucher will be for the retail value of the shoe, but you can spend it on anything. You could buy vapors or even clothes if you wanted.

I got my voucher yesterday. $115.00 even. My friend bought the Breathe Free II's online and got free shipping and no tax. I bought them in store with tax. Why is my voucher less?

The value of the vouchers have nothing to do with what you paid for the shoes you sent in. It only has to do with how much it would cost you to buy a replacement pair on Nike.com.

If the Breathe Free II's cost $110 and the Breathe Cage's cost $115, why would the Breathe Free voucher have $128 on it and the Breathe Cage voucher have only $115 on it.

Perhaps because they discount the Cage sometimes on Nike.com but not the BFII? Or perhaps they're currently running some sort of free shipping deal so you only get the cost of the shoe itself? I don't know.
