I was pretty disappointed when I saw Nike's new line of shoes. I didn't like the colors of the vapors, they 2.3s I thought were just ugly, and the 2k10s were just so plain looking. Today one of my friends got back from portland and the employee store where he bought us shoes. And wow I feel completely different.

The black 2.3s look amazing, so much more sleek looking in person, they look very high tech and not near as bulky as in the pictures. He also brought back some 2k10s, and they look sooo good. The gray just looks amazing, such a good looking shoe really pops. I still have a pair of Breathe Free 2s and the fit was pretty simliar, with the 2K10s feeling a little lighter.

Overall I am much happier with the new Nike line now. Now I just need to get my hands on a pair

I also saw the Vapor, hybrid Breathe Free, and 2.3...my feedback is different from yours.

The 2.3 looks and feels a lot lighter than the previous. The upper is still solid rubber, but with vent holes and visible mesh underneath.

The hybrid Breath Free looks weird in person. It seems much narrower than the original. The upper is pretty much the same as before. I tried on a pair, the heel and forefoot feel exactly like Vapor VI, much more flexible.

The Vapor is a major disappointment. The tongue is ultra thin, very little to no cushion. The upper is completely shinny pleather, instead of the hard rubber of Vapor VI. It looks rather tacky. The Fit Frame is a just a line of soft rubberish plastic. It's more for design than practical use.

Other than the Breathe Free, the colors on Vapor and 2.3 are...well, plain ugly.

Yes I also noticed how much lighter the 2.3s were. But unlike you I liked the black, really disliked the white and orange.

They Breathe Frees look sick. You're crazy:) They kind of seemed to me like they wouldn't last very long though. But that was just based on looks.

I thought you were playtesting the LunarLites. Didn't you say so in many threads and you were not allowed to speak about them?

Sorry if I have you confused with someone else.

Two threads. Oh and did I mention them at all? Nope. In either post? Nope. Was talking just about the 2K10s and the 2.3s.

The black looks weird up front, I guess it's the black outer rubber dimples and the white mesh underneath...The white/orange is just plain unattractive (I'm 100% sure Nadal fans would disagree)...

The Hybrid BF feels fine, but I think the skinny Vapor VI outsole looks weird on the wide upper of the old BF2...

I thought they looked great from the pics on TW. I hope they still look even better in person.
