According to his agent, also marks the end of Davydenko's contract with French apparel maker Airness. Many have sought the brand but few can find it (especially tennis) as it is not available in the U.S. or anywhere online as far as this editor can see.

No contract for clothing and raquette for davydenko if some one have information for this futures.I hope he will join adidas

Interesting, he must surely get a clothing sponsor as he doesn't have a racquet deal. Adidas would be good choice imo.

I always wondered what brand that was. Looked like a puma or panther below his collar.

His shorts almost look like some kind of diaper. The fit so poorly. Hope whoever he goes with next gives him a nice pair of shorts.

here in france at least that brand is everywhere, but theres hardly any real sportswear just like your tradtional "hip boy" clothes that they use like adiddas originals and the such, theres a lot of variety but i've only seen trendy looking ones, i think this is a good thing to happen to davydenko maybe he can score a good true sports and tennis clothing company like tachinni or maybe fila why not? theres Cilic, and theres Blake who even got his own line, and these guys are not even in the top 10...

They're just short shorts, like the older days. Airness is also a soccer/futbol brand, like Diadora, so they're apparel tends to take on a soccer/futbol look (as soccer/futbol players wear shorter shorts).

Its just his old man build/posture. He could probably make a pair of basketball shorts look like Depends.

this is a great opportunity for the smaller companies to pick up a top player on the cheap. regardless of his "marketability", the guy gets results. having a sponsored player in the latter stages of 1000s and majors is a good thing.

He's never wore super long basketball style shorts, but the white ones he's been wearing recently are truly awful.

I hope he will get a sponsor. Maybe Lotto or Reebok. I don't expect any big names to sign him.

man that airness was one piece of royal sh** nothing less..

gosh hate to see this guy in most awful clothes. Even I can dress better.

man someone please give him decent clothes because he is pretty good player.

one can't imagine what happens when you don't have hair so early in your life. Agassi worried about same that's why he was wearing that ugly but popular thing...

He should try to get a deal with the C9 line of athletic clothing from Target, he did after-all wear that at the 2006 US Open semis.

he got it because his dad died and because he was always a key american player. I gaurentee you that more people know of Blake than Davydenko. Blake is an american icon and even a global tennis icon, Davydenko is boring player that has a good record and some titles. In the long run, Davydenko won't be remembered.

    icon?
Tiger Woods despite him being a man w/hore is an icon
    Federer is an icon
    Sampras,Borg,Agassi despite his chrystal meth;Laver
    Phelps despite being a junkie
    Bolt are all icons!

    no MS for Blake
    no slam semis for blake
    no slam win for Blake
brother Blake can't even win off hard courts
Blake's DC win was a fluke and he knows it

maybe Blake is paying your rent and that might be why you are talking out of your backside but please icon and blake should NEVER EVER be in the same sentence.
When he surpasses Federer's 15 major record;then hit me up:roll:wait we know that this will NEVER happen so it's all good:lol::roll:

I like him to sign with Nike myself! Prince would be a fool not to sign him back! He doing great with a Prince racket that is not a paint job too!

Of course, he is in the top 5 and is an international player too! He not pretty but a very solid and interesting player to watch. I find him more interesting then a Federer too!

Honestly I think TW should sponsor Davydenko. He could wear whatever shirt/shorts with just the TW logo.

Would be great advertising, especially now that they have TW Europe. Davy's appeal is probably mostly with hardcore players/fans, the type who would good customers.

Davy may get a great offer from a big co like Nike or adidas so TW should make a move. Look into it guys!

But they've lost Baghdatis and the Brian Bros. They need another big name and Davydenko is just that.

...how about the brand that was plastered all over the Shanghai Masters - that Chinese-based brand that's a flagrant Nike rip-off, "ERKE". They seem to have money to throw around.
And aren't there any Russian-based sportswear brands? Surely some $$$ oligarch would've thought it a good idea to have a ruskie sports brand to complement their European soccer team, and have that team wear their apparel ?

The last i heard, Davydenko is still in talks with Lotto to sign a deal. Davydenko is pushing for more money on the back of his Masters win. As soon as i hear more i will let people know.

And Babolast, i found out a little more info on the next Adi range, but nothing ground breaking yet. Il post it in Murray Adidas thread.
