I like the lack of power I get from problend like (Kevlar mains) strings. it matches my stroke speed much better then regular synthetic gut. I don’t like the pounding my arm takes.
IS THERE A STRING WITH THE LACK OF POWER I DESIRER THAT WILL NOT KILL MY ARM?
Yours truly,

Ashaway Crossfire is softer than Problend, yet the playability is the same. I don't think you'll find any string as dead or as underpowered as kevlar, but if you have to use the stuff go with Ashaway.

isospeed pro..soft and not lively IMO..this is the one poly or poly derivative that s not gonna kill your arm..it also locks in tension far better..i think it is a polyolefin or something..nobody ever tauts this string..i think it may be a right choice if you want a dead string that isnt gonna kill you

Prince does make Pro Blend Soft. But, I'd go with a softer poly, like Technifre Pro Mix or Kirshbaum Touch Turbo.

If you arn't dead now chances are I don't think it will ever kill your arm. I was a 16 year old lad who used all Kevlar for a entire year. My arm never died from one year of playing with those stuff. I stopped because Kevlar was too expensive for my child support income. And I was seeking somthing more durable than Kevlar. The answer was poly.

Anyways I forgot how Kevlar feels after 1 month into its life. If you can afford it go all Kevlar the deadliest feel you'll ever get and if durability isn't a issue. It most likely wouldn't hurt your arm as it didn't hurt mine. The local stringers told me it would kill my arm yet it didn't. Also cautioned me not to use it. One more thing my elbow got this twitching feeling yet it didn't hurt after 7 hours of playing(repeated this for a year). I wonder what that sensation was. My wrist also felt it too.

To decrease your trampoline effect you can try 65 pounds like me. The feeling is incredible. You really get a sensation of pressure pressing on your hands when you hit the ball.
