Is there any way this can happen? I noticed while browsing tennislink that in the last flight match of districts, between two undefeated teams, that one player it was his first match(that team won 3 2). Just thought that you had to play two regular season matches to be eligible.

I know there is different lingo that people refer to for local leagues, states, districts, sectionals, etc. Where I play, you have a local league. Then, depending on the number of flights you have in your local league, you may have a local league play-off to determine who qualifies from your local league to go to the district/state championships. In our district, you have to have played in 2 matches (although one could be a default) to qualify in order to play at the district/state championship level. However, you can go through the entire local regular season, not play a match, an then play your first two matches of the year during the local league playoff in order to qualify for district/state championships.

Are you from kentucky? If so I am the player on the undefeated paducah team and it is an error in the usta. I played a different player.
