No Wimbledon Tennis in HD?

Does anyone know the score on NBC's plans to show Wimbledon in HD? It was reported vaious places that their 2005 coverage was going to be HD, but the first two broadcasts (Saturday and Sunday) were SD only, with no mention of HD.

Is anyone seeing it in HD? Does anyone know if NBC plans to show any of the tournament in HD? Were the reports incorrect, or has NBC changed their minds? Are they saving HD for the finals, perhaps?

I have watched tennis matches in HD and it is stupendous!

I hope Wimbledon is HD but I haven't seen any HD broadcasts yet.

VoOm had a nice deal last year: we got ALL US Open night sessions in HD on Bravo HD+ (now Universal HD) and he whole second week of daytime (and nighttime) coverage in HD, too. Not to mention everything on CBS.

Really awesome. But I'm sure Wimbledon would look even better!
