Its not a radical because radicals dont have round edges, radicals are more knifelike or sharper(sorry I don't really know how to describe it)

Have you tested the grip for Novak's DNA in the sweet molecules to be sure 100% it's Novaks' racket :)

Fabfed - Can you take some pics inside the handle to see if silicone was added to the handle?

    Great post by the way.

Thanks for all of the detailed photos Fabfed. Please take a few more close ups of each part of the bumper region. I'm really curious to learn how the lead is placed at the top corners (the 10 and 2 region).

    Look here: http://www.p1tennis.com/media

Pics at bottom of page, four rows up from the bottom;-).

Overgrip is no doubt Heads simple white, tacky overgrip, two of them I think.

Now stop asking the man to pull this pristine tennis history apart.

    So thus far we know:

    VS Team 17 / Alu Power 17

1/4" lead tape from the 6th cross down to past the 20th cross (roughly 5/7 o'clock)
1/4" lead also under the bumper guard from about 1 o'clock down to ?

Nah, its going to have to be done. All in the pursuit of knowledge. No point staring at something in a glass tank without knowing what it is. Besides, I'm curious to know how/if he balances the handle. There's also no reason why you can't just rewrap the grips.

Nole4life ~ Yeah, in the Nate Ferguson interview by TW a while back, (if I remember correctly) Nate said that Djoker used a 3/8ths handle, leather grip and 2 overgrips.

I'm all for knowing the specs etc of this racquet, but cast your mind to the BLX90 thread with various demands placed on FabFed to do various things to his Fed collection. We know this has two white overgrips over Head Calfskin Leather. What more do you want to know?

Yes Torres, let's do just that, rewrap the grip. While I'm at it, I'll just pass the racquet around for a play test, I'll just have it restrung if the strings break. No biggie that this is prized piece of memorabilia, more important that we satisfy your curiosity. I'll get right on it, keep your eyes peeled Torres.

Before you do that could you cut through the frame please?

I demand to see the cross section so I can compare it to my Sampras St.Vin that I recently dissected in the pursuit of knowledge.......

I think it's almost guarenteed there will be silicone as a counter to the visible lead, unless the frame is a complete custom layup to exact ND specs (which I'm not sure about given the amount of lead we can see.)

I will do better than that, I'll have it balanced on a board and post the pics and measurement, as I had done for the Fed and Rafa stcks, just give me a little time.

..And even if we did see inside we would see silicone at the bottom and would gain no info on how much weight is there, pointless really.

You're going to need a new balance board! in fact I remember you bought and accidentally destroyed one JUST for giving info to TW posters. I think you're doing more than anyone could or should be expected to so thanks.

Fair enough point. I don't wanna waste time with all the aggro as well. I know you are a big fan of Nole, let me know if you want some other close-ups or if there is something else I can find out for you about the stick that doesn't require any physical change to the racquet :)

If you have one of Federer's or Nadal's racquets, could you swing it through the air (forehand) three times. Then swing the Djokovich racquet through the air three times and then note which was heavier to swing and if the difference was small or large?

H22s are relatively hard to get compared to TGKs and PT57s. Someone posted side-by-side pictures of H22s and KBlades last night - that's one place to go for pictures of an H22 in a KBlade paintjob.

Sorry if I've missed this, but do we have a good idea of the flex? Is it as low as some have previously suspected (ie, low 50s)? Fascinating thread btw.

The swinging thing is a way to compute SW without putting it on a machine. There's an article on TW somewhere where you swing the racquet back and forth a number of times and count the time it takes to do it to compute the number.

Just something that I'm curious about - the frame looks legit from the pictures that you've already posted.

I don't think they'll breed in captivity, but hey, with that kind of investment, it's worth a try.

OP, thanks for sharing, and thanks especially for such impressive photos. If you post the specs on it, I'll look forward to reading them.

So Nole has lead on both sides from 5&7 to 11&1.......

Fabfed could you tell us wether this is the lighter foil tape or the heavier thicker stuff....??
It makes quite a difference as one is pretty much twice as heavy as the other. It does look like the heavier stuff which is less polished......
