Would Nole still have to face Murray if Murray loses to Tsonga?

Djoko lost just one set so far despite the draw from hell. Good for him. Hope he'll have some reserves left for the next 2 rounds. It seems he was stretching a lot today.

Murray is NOT gonna lose to Tsonga in straights no matter what, which means Murray will qualify and Djoko will play him again in the final if both players make it that far.

Thanks, So Djoko would either have to face either Murray/ Ferrer / JM Del Potro. If he beats Federer?

Yup, Birdcrap has been tearing it up as of late? Maybe you were talking about Clownga who hasn'y put on a good performance for about a year. Possibly you were referring to Haggisboy, who recently lost to some polish nobody thus cementing his status as king of squandering match points.

In the other group we have Ferrer who just won Valencia and Paris back to back and Del Potro who just won Vienna and Basel back to back.

Djoko will face whoever finishes #2 in the other group. I think that is still very much up for grabs but I think Federer will likely finish #1, meaning it would be Murray vs Federer and Djokovic vs Ferrer or Delpo

Ferrer = The Ultimate Pusher, exposed by a ****ty Fed who couldn't be arsed on the day in straight sets.

Delpo = Hit & Miss, great on his day, gone missing in some (especially against Fed).

Tipsy = LMFAO he shouldn't even be here.

Tsonga & Berdych can trouble Fed and you know that. 8)

We don't know yet if Djoko will have to play Fed in the semi. If Fed beats Delpo, he will have to play either Ferrer or Delpo in the semi and will then meet either Murray or Fed in the final.

You forgot to add that Ferrer is pathologically terrified of Fed and loses what few weapons he has when he faces him.

Honestly god... that match was beyond dreadful. Probably the worse match I've ever watched.

Fedards have no right to moan about cake draws imo.

Come on, cut the crap. I am a Federer fan and Federer's draw is the easier draw. It does not matter who came into the tournament in form, it matters how Federer does against the players h2h. Fed owns all of the players in his group. There is no way Fed would rather see Murray, Djokovic, Berdych or Tsonga than he would Tipsarevic, Del Potro and Ferrer no matter how many tournaments the latter group won before the O2.

As a Fed fan you should just be happy and accept that Fed's passage is easier this time. The only one in the group who can trouble Fed at all is Del Potro and Fed pretty much owns him too.

Wasn't really a draw from hell for djokovic. only 2 players in the event had a really good chance to beat him, Murray and federer. in djokovic's group he was always likely to spank berdych and tsonga as well considering how poor he's been. was only a group from hell for the other 3 but even Murray was fairly sure to progress.

Clearly the group of death and the group of cake. Federer has played the WTF so many times that it would be a conspiracy if he never had a cakewalk one.

Berdych had chances but should not have served down the tee on that set point on his serve..
Novak is too consistent and too much of an all rounder on this slow surface for Berdych, more of a one trick pony, to be able to overcome.

Actually, several Fed fans admitted he had a cake of a draw this time, I'd say he had the easiest group possible with the downside that he'll likely have to beat both Murray and Novak back-to-back to win (something I certainly don't expect him to do given his form so you need not worry).

On the other hand, hell would freeze over before you or your fellow Nards/Fed haters (a group I distinguish from sane Nadal fans) ever admit to Nadal having an easy draw :).

Clearly, Federer had the easiest group ever. However, I'd rather see him in a group with Murray, Ferrer and Tipsa. Since he and Murray would go through, he'd have a better chance, to only have to beat one of them in the semis and final.

But yeah, nobody in Fedcamp complained about the group.

You did not name a single situation in which Ferrer qualifies, if Delpo defeats Roger. Is that correct? So if Delpo defeats Roger, Ferrer is done?

heck.... even i was complaining about easy draw for nadal at french and wimbly.

But Fed has had his own share of lucky draws . Even Novak had a easy draw at US open. So nothing to complain.

It was just a tongue in cheek comment!
