The only way Djokovic takes the trophy with him is via a heist on Center Court :)

Seriously though, he might, although if Rafa does take AO like I predict, then Novak might be too rattled to even be a factor in RG. Much like the last few years, this is shaping up to be an interesting season. But next season maybe even more so, because of the cliffhanger dynamics of this year's end (Rafa #1 but Djokovic pushing an amazing comeback after USO into a 24 victory streak). I hope Murray and Federer can come back in 2014 to make things even more interesting.

Yes, I agree. It makes perfect sense after the extended layoff. Or maybe his training during the latter part of his layoff put more emphasis on features of his game designed for the success at hardcourts that followed, which affected his clay game?

What is a 'Nole 2.0'? Can someone explain that to me?

Nole 2.0 is the performance enhanced version of Djokovic post 2010.

Why does this only apply to Novak Djokovic? I don't see a Fed 2.0 or an Isner 2.0...

Because of the dramatic and sudden change, akin to a software upgrade. :)

And, for more insidious reasons, because it implies that the version of Djokovic prior to 2.0 was an imperfect version, therefore casting doubts on the ability of Nadal to win against the true (2.0) Djokovic. Thankfully he seems to have downgraded again since 2.0. :)

Nadal's FH landed right in the center of his core apparently ;) he's been slam jinxed. It'll continue at the AO :D

Ask me after the AO. Believe me, I'm not concerned. 13>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>6. In slams, 8>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>3.

Nadal quit in 2010 in the third set down two sets to none against Murray. Not his finest moment. I hope you're right and he's a major factor in two months.

Depends on what the sport decides to do with the drug testing and court issues... but it is definitely a realistic opportunity for Djokovic to take it.

    What he needs to do:

    -Stop joking around, focus
    -No more dancing around
    -No more funny man syndrome
-Stay motivated, stay focused, diet, training, regimen, etc.
-Hopefully his marriage to his GF goes smoothly

Basically, Nole is an emotional guy. When his life is going well emotionally, he plays much better. But right now he seems focused and I haven't seem him muck around too much. Novak biggest problem is that he somehow always manages to choke at certain stretches in a match and it's over for him. Since 2011, I haven't seen a match where Novak lost and thought the other player was better than him.

Novak has been the best in the world since AO 2011.

Apparently it's the only version of him that can beat Nadal in a slam

Both of them will have to beat 6 players before they meet and Novak lost 9 times in 2013 and only 3 of those were to Nadal so I wouldn't count my chickens before they are hatched, if I were you.

To be honest, I don't see Novak (or Rafa) to lose anyone before finals. Only question mark is Andy. But it's hard to think that he would beat D or R in best 5 right after his injury but who know's. What comes to Roger (and his movement), the court is wayyyy toooo slow in order to beat Djokovic or Nadal in best of 5. Too bad.

    So sick.
