Extreme level of play from Stan the Man in that first set! But like clockwork, he drops serve to start the 2nd. Trying to stay up for this match!

Interesting, Djoker is looping the ball to get the ball out of Stans strike zone.

Well well well, Stan has 3 BPs to break back. Wawrinka's still returning like a golden god.

    EDIT: and he does it!

Stan's playing great but Novak is a UFE machine today and his movement seems really off.

Yeah, it was a matter of time before Wawa realized what was happening and real life resumed :D Still, credit to him for making a match out of this so far.

Wawrinka is teeing off on everything. Reminds me of his 2011 R16 match against Roddick, but this way more impressive because he is outhitting Djokovic as opposed to Roddick in "Mug mode".

Djoko should switch to a 90 frame for more control and feel.

No, we don't actually, people should really stop with this jinxing and reverse psychology nonsense.

Sure, Novak is still likely to win and Stan won't play at the level he showed in the 1st for the whole match but when an underdog wins set 6-1 there's a chance for the upset.

I think I see Stan's gameplan. Do not let Novak build up a rhythm, don't let him get comfortable, and keep points short. His standard gameplan wasn't working, so couldn't hurt to try something else. And how!
