For those that have used the Prince NXG (mainly the midplus), from experience do the strings break more often due to the lack of grommets? Is it a problem with the frame?

    Thanks

I've used the mid and the midplus in the past and haven't seen that problem in my racquets, even with more fragile strings. I have heard one or two players mention what you're talking about, but I don't think it's a widespread issue with that frame.

Interesting, there seems to be some conflicting views on this.

I broke synthetic gut strings in 2 sessions with my oversize, but they broke where they would on an oversize racquet with grommets. I now use kevlar on my midplus and oversize and they last for months.

I think people who complain about string breakage with this frame may have issues with the inside of the holes having sharp edges. I don't think that's an issue with mine.
