I'm planning on putting NXT 16 (58) and Technifibre X-1 Biphase 17 (56) on my new Fischer M Pro Number 1 98 racket. What do you think of this "hybrid?"

I demoed the fischer and it came with nxt 16 and I loved it. I was thinking x-1 might benefit to it. Thanks! :)

What the... I have no idea why a smiley face came up after the 5. I meant 58 lbs.

It depends on what you want to accomplish with this hybrid. They are both high priced multifilaments so there is no cost savings. The 17 gauge X-1 should add a little more power, spin and feel compared to an all 16 gauge NXT string bed.

Well, I want to accomplish power and average-moderate spin. Thanks shogun, I'll go with the hybrid.

This would be like putting VS in the mains and Tonic in the crosses. Or a black nike on the left foot and a white nike on the other. Or a burger with ketchup and catsup. Or a ...
