A racquet I bought had an offer I could not refuse! Free NXT Tour strings! I usually use Gosen Sheep 17 but now that I tried premium, I dont think I can go back. I love the feel and playability of the Wilson string but my $16.00 a pop seems like a bit much.

What can be considered NXT alternatives?

Technifibre NRG is a great string and a little cheaper.

At this time, TW has the Gamma Live Wire for $7.95. It's a comparable string too. At that price, it's hard to beat.

Sounds like a great investment. Twice as cheap as NXT tour but I hope it doesnt reenforce the phrase "you get what you paid for".

I agree with Steve. You also could try Wilson Sensation(the original), Dunlop Max Comfort, Alpha Gut 2K or TF E-matrix. These are all good multis for the money.

Ack, am I seeing things or is live wire $11? Anywho, the technifibre E-Matrix looks like a damn amazing buy at $5. I think I'll be ordering that soon.

    Thanks for all input.
