So I'm waiting in line for a court and Eurodude walks up with the new Oreo Vapors we've all been salvating on and lemme just tell you this: these are without a shadow of doubt the most amazing shoes I gave ever seen in my life.

If someone can post to photobucket for me I will email you pics NOW.

Sorry guys, was playing long match, just got home, here was the only pic I took.

Sorry for misspelling Oreo ... :)

Let me re-iterate, these shoes are like a Rolls Royce for the feet.

Every line and every detail was making me have mental orgazms.

I wanted to run to Nike Town and get them.

The guy said they were like 115 or 120. He couldn't remember.

Amazing shoes. The most gorgeous mens tennis shoe ever produced.

I cannot wait to get them.

They already have them here at the tennis store in Houston, TX. Just got a pair and they look really nice. I will probably be buying 2 to 3 pairs of these bad boys.

Oreo's are very nice, I actually prefer them to any of the other colors. Except for the US Open Day shoes of course :)

Seriously? C'mon, black/white is a default colorway for almost every line of shoe that gets produced no matter what sport you're talking about. In other words, it's just black and white. Nothing to get excited about if you ask me. I also believe it is the most sold color scheme. It matches pretty much everything.

    Surely you cannot be serious.

I never said anything about the colors, did I?

"Every line and every detail"...hmm, I didn't mention color there.

The shoes are astonishing in person, kinda like a BMW Z8.

    :)

They're shoes, for crying out loud. They're nice, but they're white and black shoes.

Did you not say "Oreo" in your OP?

Why are you salivating over the "Oreo" and not these...they're the exact same shoe.

Once again, you win...I was merely trying to assist those close to NYC that were wanting a pair. And stating that they looked fantastic in person. If you can't handle my opinion then eff off.

You can state your opinion all you want. I just don't understand the enthusiasm, that's all. No need to get worked up.

LOL he is just enthusiastic about the shoes. If you don't understand it that means you do not like these shoes as much as he does. The black and white vapors earlier in the year do not look as good as these IMO. The black ones had some weird dark blue color and the white/silver ones were too plain.

For the next 2 1/2 hrs I do at any rate, then I'm back on the courts.

Anyway, Grover Sparkman pretty much summed up "my point". They're just shoes. I don't consider shoes, or apparel for that matter, as works of art. Sure, the design is nice but it's hardly "OMG!, OMG!, OMG!"

But yes, that's just my opinion, as is yours. Like I said, relax. I just don't understand it. If you want to be excited, be excited. I still "scratch my head in ". I am a little bored so I'm making posts I probably wouldn't do otherwise. Just ignore me.

Somebody could say the same to me about my "Lucky me, nice find...." thread. I wouldn't care.

i was just at Niketown Las Vegas
they have the Oreo's and no RF on them, as you can see from the pictures above.

I guess the person who got the Oreos early with the RF is really lucky and has a limited pair.

F All you haters, get a life! Those are some sexy shoes. With these and the Ballistecs i have to say Nike has stepped up their shoe asthetics a notch.

Also, i have noticed a similarity with those and the latest Kobe shoes. I would assume those vapors are pretty lightweight?

Don't know about the RF logo but these were at a tennis store in houston that sells worldwide and adverstises on tennis channel. So I am assuming there will be no RF logo. Nike has done a great job with these last stock of tennis shoes. By the way, the Kobes are the best bball shoes I have ever worn, and are very similar to the vapors but the vapors are a little heavier. I still have a pair of the limited edition kobes brand new still in the box.

I was just in NYC Nike Town and didn't see them. Very nice looking, but the forefoot area seems to be widened. It's a touch roomy for me. I prefer the V's.

On a side note, while in Nike Town, I bought the Ballistec [sic] shoes. They felt nice in the store but now I have fat blisters on my big toes.

Hilarious, totally opposite for me. I love the look of Vapors so much, but the VI's are like plastic and pummel my toes. Ballistec 1.3 slip a little, but are otherwise money. I will probably buy Oreo vapors, but only for looks/fashion.

Well that's what I don't understand. The Vapor VI has more room in the forefoot than the Ballistec. Maybe it's because it's my first day back on the hardcourts from the clay.

So only mine have the RF on? What colour is 'fit frame' written on top of?Also, on a side note, i nearly brought the black red version, which look amazing, but they were alot stiffer in the upper material than mine

The ballistecs tend to rub in unusual places-I've had 2 pair and I got a blister on the top of my 2nd from the little toe. You'll get used to it pretty quick. I like the ballistecs but just got some vapor 6's and they're much better on clay because of the herringbone bottom. I wish the ballistecs were a bit lighter as well.

Yes, i feel that the vapors have more room in the forefoot than the ballistecs. TW europe has the oreos in stock now.
