When tensioning the O3 Speed Port Platinum at the T, should you tension before you thread the string through the handle grommets or not? I've done it both ways. Tensioning after threading through the handle puts a lot of torque on the frame, it makes me nervous. If you don't thread it through the handle, the rubber throat thingy gets deformed. Anyone know what I'm talking about??? Suggestions???

I string all manner of O3's. Very straight forward. I do replace my W-mount with a single mount (i.e. throatless adapter).

I string my Speedport Golds a as 110, so I use the hard plastic throat adapter that replaces the silicone insert. It should have been attached to the frame when new in a clear plastic bag. If it is not available, you can order a replacement Bumper kit and use the piece that is included.
I feel that any one who is using a discontinued frame should get a bumper kit or two just to be on the safe side. The bumpers are not very robust on this series.
