I'm trying to find info about an odd wooden racquet (on ****).
it's a Donnay wooden racquet with "partner" written at the base of the head with a long list of names (starting with Borg, ending with E. Uchiyama) running down the neck on both sides.
Any ideas what model etc this racquet is?

(seller has no idea of history/model etc)

    thanks

I guess I've stumped all the collectors here. I've searched the web and cannot find any reference to this racquet. if anyone has a suggestion of where to research that'd be great also.

I'll hazard a semi-educated guess and suggest that it might have been a special promotional edition for dealers and "friends" of Donnay, celebrating the professional players who were sponsored by Donnay up to that point.

From the Borg era (late 70's/early 80's) to roughly 1986, quite a few "second echelon" pros used Donnay. When the company sold, the breadth of their sponsorships seemed to thin out drastically - they put all their marketing money into Agassi and Bollettieri. After Agassi signed with Head, Greg Rusedski was their last gasp.
