i know this is really asking for outright speculation, and i'm quite capable of that myself....

but what are the odds of a federer/nadal final in toronto next sunday? i don't follow the non-majors closely enough.... what are the odds that nadal pulls out early, one of the two pulls out during the week or nadal loses to someone else? i don't see too much chance of fed losing before facing nadal in the finals.

i would prefer to spend my $$$$$$ on QF than finals if nadal/federer won't play against each other...

FWIW, i went to see tiger woods at bell canadian open and it was amazing. he went six under on a 4 hole stretch when i watched him, and then he hit his greatest shot ever in the final round. the shot i think was eclipsed by masters chip-in last year.... but general point is that this tiger woods, nadal/federer stuff is simply amazing, and well worth the price.

fair enough... i'm just curious as to chances that something happens to nadal in the interim.... and i don't want to pay the big $$$$ for nalbandian/federer for example (and then risky as only one singles match)

Unless you have a pass for the week I would go Thursday or Friday. You get many more matches this way and you get to see the guys who are in the finals anyway.

I believe it's a somewhat slow, high bouncing court...so you've got to give the edge to Nadal.

What's the probability of them meeting in the finals? I dunno, 100%? Well, it depends on who else is playing. If Roddick and Blake are in the draw, Nadal could be in trouble.

I think that the odds are pretty good that these twp will end up in the final again. Don't they have some sort of streak going? If they are seeded 1-2, they have played at least 3 or four finals in a row i think??? Am I way off base here?? Someone come to the rescue.

The Nadal camp are praying to the gods that James Blake isn't on his side of the draw!!! I'd be willing to bet that miraculously both James Blake and Nalbandian will end up on Fed's side of the draw.

You cant possibly mean that there might be some fixing going on. That would be unheard of on the ATP draw side of things( cough , cough, yeah right)

Nadal is in very very good form right now. I would give him almost even odds of playing Federer in the final.

nadal has federer's number. federer hasnt "figured out" nadal. thats wishful thinking from fed fans. funny how much a high-spun-ball-to-fed's-backhand-combo can get you so far.

Unfortunately that tactic doesn't work on Blake.

Isn't Blake in Nadal's quarter? That doesn't sound too good for Rafa. He will have to play extremely aggressive to win that match.
