Look at the picture of the strings!!! It says pro hurricane tour on it!!! does that mean rafa uses painted black pro hurricane and not RPM Blast???

    Good eyes.
There are a few things to consider:
FabFed when did you get Nadal's racket?
Nadal may have used it in the beginning of the season and Babolat was going to release it as PH Tour in Black(even being different from PHT),but for marketing they decided to rename it as RPM Blast, since it was a different string than the PHT.There are pics taken by his stringers of the RPM Blast reels and they said the string He uses is RPM Blast when compared with the retail.
What gauge is that one FabFed?
Thanks for coming back and already revealing a mystery about Nadal's strings.

It's lighter and so probably not as durable as the retail versions as also mentioned by some of the posters in other threads.

Federer has always worn "paintjob" shoes. They are custom made for his feet with different outsoles, technology, cushioning, uppers, etc. so basically they are a completely different shoe from the retail versions. They are only made to look like the retail versions from a distance or on TV.

Now why can't Wilson give us this kind of quality control with the K90's sold at retail? Exactly 364 grams on the button for all 3 racquets. Good job by the Wilson Pro Room and Priority One. :)

Yes, from AO. The racquet wasn't match-used so may not be his actual strings, I don't know, think there was a lot of discussion about this in other threads.

You get what you pay for. If you want it the way you want it and don't want to do it yourself, expect to pay $400 a frame.

    wow you are back! amazing.

now don't let the trolls annoy you. sooner or later someone will come ask you measure this measure that, take this grip off or cut that string up. etc. just ignore them.

Don't want to be THAT guy asking you anything so please do not take this a wrong way.

I was wondering however if you could post a photo with Rafa's Aeropro drive hanging by your finger in the corner of the racket throat and bridge where bridge meets the hoop of the racket if you know what i mean, like a poor man's ballance measurment :)
(this will not damage it) just to gauge balance of Rafa's APD. it should be roughly even 33.5 cm

GREAT TO SEE YOU BACK BTW

They do. If needed, it's hidden (and protected) under the bumperguards. I'm suspect if more balancing is needed under the grip or in the handle is also added.

I'm sorry I can't get all the pics back up as my allotted bandwidth has been exceeded due to the traffic. I have posted a few of the pics with a new account. The rest of the pics will be back up in a few weeks when the bandwidth usage resets to zero in the next month.

^ Thank you for the great pics... and camerawork.

    2 questions:

1.) Have you ever played with either of the racquets or have had them re-strung with your choice of string?

2.) Is it just the camera angle or does Rafa's racquet seem alot thicker (beam-wise) than the retail version?

Where he got them or what he paid is totally irrelevant here, we should be glad he post them here and the specs, this is a major contribution to this forum, please respect that.
