I used to play with this guy from Japan that used Bridgestone racquets. He was a very good player and he played very well with them, although the last time I played with him he said he was considering switching to a PS 6.0 95. Unfortunately, I never did get a chance to try his Bridgestone racquets.

Who cares how they look, if they play like crap? The PS 6.0 95 looks like crap but plays like a dream. That's why it's one of the most revered racquets here, and even that Bridgestone user I mentioned wants to switch to it. Pete Sampras didn't win 14 Grand Slams because his racquet looked cool. Serious tennis players don't care what a racquet looks like.

Did you know Bridgestone makes the Nike golf clubs? Bridgestone manufactures them and Nike puts their label on it.

I have Colgate shoes, no joke. Ok it's a joke.
But I do want a racquet made by residents of the Calledon Hills Retirement Home; this newer generation of racquet engineers stink

At least Bridgestone racquets don't blow up or wear off like the Michellin racquets. Ask the F1 people.

Well we can't forget, it's not a tire company but Porsche even tried to put a racquet out. It was actually a Volkl racquet though.

Pirelli was more into high tech and telecom as they made fiber optic cables. A little more advanced than tennis racquets.

A pro shop called "Racket-Racquets" in Arcadia (I think), California (near Los Angeles) carries Bridgestone rackets from Japan. They did feel nice in the store, but I didn't get to play with one. Seemed to be a players racket and the guy said they were very popular.
