One handed backhand vs two handed?

Over the years I have worked on numerous kinds of strokes. Forehand slice, backhand slice, one-handed backhand, 2 handed backhand, etc. What I've noticed is during points/hitting I just randomly use one or the other when it comes to one-two handers. I'm not sure why, but I do. My 1 hand slice is good, I cannot do a 2 hand slice. Since I used 1 hand for slice, i decided to practice 1 handed. I have a little more control on placing the ball and top spin with 2 hands, and good power and angle on the one handed. I just figured it would keep my opponets confused. The problem is sometimes it does that to me. :) What shall I do?

Pick one or the other. The only mixing of one or two hands you want to use is slice vs. topspin. If you choose to use two hands, that's for topspin rallying. Only use one hand for slice or drop shots. I'm kind of glad to hear two-handed slice doesn't work for you. It looks god-awful even when good players use it (i.e. Fabrice Santoro). Gives me the chills...
While using both can confuse opponents (at least at first), it will confuse you much more and will produce indecisiveness on court (one of a player's worst enemies) and inconsistancy.
