Cmon man use your eyesight.Would she ever married him if he isn't rich?
Being rich is a valid reason to merry someone. When they once asked Ivana whether she would merry Donald if he wasn't rich her response was "Would he merry me if I didn't look as I look".

Actually no, she isn't. Not ethnically at least, and she's a naturalized American citizen. Not that this matters to me, after all I'm a Serb-Canadian and I have zero qualms with her decision and still like her regardless . . . but what you're saying sounds like a variation of "I have black friends", LOL. Doesn't get you out of the woods. And that doesn't mean I think you're a bigot, just that you've said some curious things and have made some rather impressive leaps of logic in this thread.

I'm not trying to get out of any woods. I don't care whether you think I'm a bigot or not :) I haven't made impressive leaps of logic, it's your opinion that I have, you are wrong.

Well yeah, you have, that's demonstrably clear. I imagine most people reading this thread would agree. What's also clear is that you won't under any circumstance concede you're wrong, even though I suspect you know you are.

So, probably best to pull the plug on this convo.

No I have not. You also will not concede you are wrong! I know I'm right. I suspect you know you are wrong. You promised pulling the plug a long time ago fella, we saw what happened there. Your ego just couldn't resist! ;)

LOL sorry man, that's because I genuinely thought you were worth prolonging the discussion for. It was an honest mistake :p

I think it's nice when the losing player gives credit to the opponent for just playing better than they did, which I think is what Djokovic is doing.

I remember Roddick doing something similar after Federer beat him at Wimbledon. Something like "I threw the kitchen sink at him today and he just came back at me with the bath tub".

And clearly it showed that the words of congratulations he gave to Delpo at the end of the match were nice enough to bring out some tears from him as well.

It was clearly an emotional win for Delpo, after his long injury lay-off (no disrespect to Wawrinka at Wimbledon this year), but beating the No.1 clearly got to him and I think both realised it was an emotional moment. Unfortunately, emotions can be very cruel and get the better of us. We saw how Murray's Wimbledon win this year brought out the tears....and that's when he'd actually won.

But it annoys me when certain players will say it was them who played badly, rather than give credit to their opponent who just played better than they did.

I'm not going to name names, but I think you all know who I mean.

T. BERDYCH/R. Federer 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4

Question. "You [Fed] beat him [Berdych] almost every time you played him. Was he any different?"
ROGER FEDERER: "... I'm unhappy with the way I'm playing. I couldn't play the way I wanted to play. You know, I am struggling with a little bit of a back and a leg issue. That just doesn't quite allow me to play the way I would like to play...

Q. "Some of these big, flat hitters seem to be having an effect on you. Do you need to alter your game to adjust to that?"
ROGER FEDERER: "Well, if I'm healthy I can handle those guys, you know. ...But I'm definitely struggling at the moment. That's a bit disappointing."

Yes these three languages are very close.

If you visit Scandinavia someday, do it during summer because it's beautiful. Winters are boring. That's why Scandinavians go to warmer countries 2-3 times a year LOL. You're fortunate as an American, I'm jealous. If it's cold in New York, you can just go to Florida. :)

Danish butter cookies are good but I like Dunkin' Donuts more. I actually go to Copenhagen just to eat those because they don't have it in my city. Again, you're lucky to have it everywhere in the US.:)
You are right, I will visit in the summer. I think I saw a lot of Scandinavians when I was in Southern Europe last summer. Or maybe they were Germans.

Dunkin' Donuts? I've never tried them, but I used to fulminate a full box of Entenmann's glazed buttermik donuts with 2 or 3 glasses of milk in one sitting.

I'm not likely to ever try them either, due to my wish to avoid refined carbs from now on, specially sugar. I might cheat periodically with pizza though. I just love pizza too much.

I know this is not what really happened, but I somehow had a hunch before Olympics that Djoko will show up but leave early what with the Zika threat and tight schedule which may hamper his USO chances. He probably really wanted to win but I wouldn't be too bothered about it if I were him. He already has an Olympic medal from 2008, doesn't he ? That is more than good enough.
