open string bed pattern

    based on what i read, nadal uses a 16x19 pattern but that's with his 100 sq in racket.

    my question is...what string pattern is that equivalent to for a 95 sq in racket?

    15x18 but that pattern does not exists. With a 16x19 or 16x18 pattern you will be fine for a 95 square inch stick.

    The key is not in the string pattern but in the drill pattern. For example, the space can be distributed evenly (Prestige Pro or Dunlop 500) or it can be relatively dense in the middle and very open around the sweet spot (Wilson 6.1 95 16x18 ). You will have very different response from a string bed depending on spacing that is used...
