Looking for your thoughts on the best racquets from the baseline ?? Tks
Easy. Yonex RD-7 (!)
POG...simply the best of the baseline class.
Best baseline racquet for pounding winners, from personal experience, is the Pure Drive. But I am switcing to the PS 85
It's hard to pound winners w/ the ps85 - -so watch out if u plan on doing this unless you are the incredible hulk
However I did play with the N61 and it looks like it has some wicked pounding action and stable response from the baseline.
Whatever you play best with from the baseline.

The disparity in the players listed above is illustration of the fact that some (most) times it's not the racket.
The Babolat Pure Drive, maybe even the Pure Drive Plus. Another good choice might be the Aeropro Drive or Drive Plus. Babolat makes grerat racquets because their not too head light but their not head heavy. A combination of a great racquet!!!
Another good example!

lmao. You think Rod Laver used a Pure Drive?
Na, I am no hulk. But I hit with decent pace. Besides, switching to 85 for me is to experience a new style of play.
Why yes. Last time I saw him play, he was using a Pure Drive.
Simple: The Prestige series of frames and designed for baseline play. Just powerful enough but with emphasis on control. The Pure Drive ..... is rather recent. Even today ..... the LM Prestige is one of the most used frames on the men's tour. The Prestige series has had a huge showing for many years. Hard to beat it's success! Period!!
