What happened to this thread - I was following it and had it open. Came home to see if had been updated and found that it had disappeared.

    WHAT IS GOING ON!!

Is this 1984 (George Orwell that is)? I can see closing a thread or censoring a post if it becomes offensive, but to delete it completely?? That is pretty heavy-handed!!

I agree there was a good informative discussion going on and suddenly it is gone.

    Not really.

Every Wegner thread seems to be unable to stay away from posting misinformation, mischaracterizations, and completely unsubstantiated quotes and claims regarding other professionals or coaches. Some of those said coaches have come right on this forum to confront these misrepresentations directly.

If Wegner threads could just stick with offering tips, tricks, and thoughts about tennis... things would have been fine.

But that never seems to be the case.

TW staff should at least explain their move. It was indeed a great thread.

BS it is because of the Oscar haters that start enough trouble and the thread gets deleted. Funny how the haters can't stand Oscar but they are the ones making the largest number of posts in any thread about him.

I agree and it is hard to believe that on a tennis site we cannot discuss the different coaches and their methods.

If anyone has questions regarding moderation, please email us directly. In this case, as others have suggested, the the thread was hardly about instruction and rather was basically arguing. If a thread has more posts that need to be deleted than to save, we will remove the thread entirely.
