Lately I've been feeling some tenderness on the front of my foot/lower leg, basically right where the foot connects to the leg. Tried to figure out what muscle it was by looking at a diagram, but wasn't sure. Some sort of extensor? Originally only felt it when walking/jogging, but now all the time. It's very, very minor pain at this point, but it's there. Likely causes are either because I've recently taken up light jogging, or started to do light squats and leg praises and calf raises at the gym. So how do I nip this in the bud and prevent worsening or chronic pain without completely stopping my workouts?
