Most of the time I have to send in my shoes for the warranty because when you slide on hard-courts, you WILL get a hole around the top toe area. I've stopped doing this to make my shoes last longer, but sometimes will resort to the slide in desperate times. I was playing with the Prince Rebel LS and went to the slide to get a shot and when I looked at my shoes after the point the yellow paint peeled right of in the area. It's about quarter sized, and I didn't even slide that hard. Has anyone else had this issue?

doesnt the paint peel off first before the actual material? i've noticed that with normal wear on running shoes. sounds like you described the issue already

I'm not sure if I'm completely understanding the question correctly, but I scratched the yellow paint off my Rebels as well in several areas just from a quick slide for a hard to reach ball.

    Just the paint.

YES! I was grinding the shoe, just a quick slide. It seems that the paint comes off so easily...
