Paint removal with heat gun?

    Has anyone experiences with the removal of paint? Heat Gun?

    I have not tried it. But I did install a grip enlargener using a flame to shrink the sleeve and there was no effect on the paint.

    I would say your best bet is a sand blaster although painting over the racquet is probably much more accessible to most.

    Paint remover works best. The mild orange stuff doesn't work. You need something strong and it takes some time.

    Common guys!!!

    paint remover and heat guns on graphite frames.

    use some elbow grease and fine grade (160) aluminium grit paper.

    why do ya want to remove th paint job anyway I'm intrigued.

    Buy some paint stripper at Fred Meyers or something, i dont' remember the brand name but it worked wonders on my PS 6.0 85, some people say it'd be blasphemy stripping that frame of it's 'classic' job, but i have somethin' in the works ;)
