Painting a racquet?

    Im thinking about painting my racquet black and I was wondering if I accidently got paint on the strings would that hurt them in any way?

    To paint your racquet you need to remove the strings, grommets, bumper guard, grip and at least the top coat of lacquer by sanding the entire frame. If you try to paint your racquet while it is strung you’re going to make a gnarly mess of it.

    I recommend you do not paint your racquet, but if you've made up your mind, do a search here and on the old boards for tips and how-to.
