Painting Strings.

Discussion in 'Strings' started by SheLovesMyPlowThrough, Aug 9, 2010.

  1. New poster, long time reader, finally decided to get an account. I know there are a lot of posts about painting strings, but my question hasn't been answered. I want to know if painting textured strings, like Signum Pro Hextremes or RPM Blast would cause the paint to fill up the grooves and smooth the string making it pointless to buy textured string. Any thoughts? Because I really want to get a nasty personalized design, but I wouldn't sacrifice playability. Thanks in advance!

Bro I still think you are putting way to much thought into this. Because the ink is temporary and chips away every time you hit the ball, so even if it did fill up the grooves it would empty out eventually
