These 2 have got to be the most biased, obnoxious and in general plain stupid commentators ever in any sport, esp Shriver.

The ATP should sue them for blasphemy and get an injunction so they cannot even mention the words, "ATP", "Men's tennis", "Men's Tour", etc.

The comments about the serve today compared to the men just shows how little they really know about Serena.

Are they not aware that one of Serenas practice partners (male junior) smokes her repeatedly in practice?

Where I live (not far from the Evert academy in Boca) is the Solomon Tennis Academy. Many female pros come thru here to practice/train. Many times, they play practice sets with the boys and get destroyed, and the boys they play aren't even the best juniors.

(Dementiava, Peer, Dushevina, etc, etc, )

Most tennis commentators come across as complete fickle morons when they're in the booth. They're often much more bearable in the studio doing punditry, but you get them in the commentary box, all caught up in the match, and they really do come out with some stupid crap. It's especially sad when you see once great players doing it.

Jim Courier is the one guy I really enjoy listening to on commentary. He seems to be the only really, truly, regularly rational one I've ever heard.

Junior players beating professional female tennis players, that maybe a little hard to believe. D1 players can definitely lay the beat down, the ATP would probably give out bagels in less than half an hour.

Dude, junior males player routine top 5 WTA players. That's a fact. I knew a junior who beat Sharapova 6-0, 6-1 when she was top 3. The kid was only 16.

There are plenty of good top juniors out there that could lay a beat down on very good D1 players, so it really isn't too hard to believe. Dominic Thiem, who is 16? put a beat down on Thomas Muster last year (2 and 1 I believe), and he would beat the snot out of Serena. Serena has actually acknowledged in interviews that some of her practice partners (juniors) are way better than the top wta players, which is why she chooses to practice with them.

A male pro who was already on his way out of the game (Baarsch) and was ranked 250?? at the time laid a beat down on Serena 6-1, and Venus 6-2 and wasn't even trying. He claimed, as well as many witnesses stated he was playing around 50%.

Evert's brother, who wasn't even a pro wiped the floor with Evert when she was #1 in the world and winning all those slams. How she could say this knowing it not to be true from first hand experience boggles the mind.

We've had a 1000 threads on women vs men, somehow Serena always comes up and it's always some idiot (in this cas Pam and Chris) who thinks she's gods gift to tennis. It's pathetic really.

Kaarsten did it while chain smoking throughout the match and hardly breaking a sweat. It's a joke to even think women are competitive in any shape or form. They play tennis in slow motion.
