papery stuff peeling of grip pallet...

    what do you guys think ? should I prep the pallet in any way before wrapping the new grip ? That stuff (looks like paint layer, but with a paper feel) came off when I unwrapped the old grip.

    my lm prestige also has that same stuff, but only a little bit of mine has come off

    yeah, I didn't know about it otherwise I would have been more careful when removing the old grip. The microgels have this sticky tape tightly wrapped around a black pallet that looks like plastic (?).

    it is the same material as the rest of the brittle Head pallets, just a harder surface layer
    you can protect the PU with some low adhesive masking tape

    by low adhesive masking tape you mean like the painter's blue tape or more something like electrical tape ?

    the pallets are made of polyurethane (PU) foam
    yes, something like the painterĀ“s blue tape but not electrical tape, it will stick too well
