Is that an RDX500 he's using or his old frames updated in time honoured manufacturers fashion? Anyone know what sort of specs and strings he's got? Many thanks.

I believe that Paradorn is using the Yonex Ultimum RD Ti-80. As far as his sting I believe he is using 16 gauge Luxilon Big Banger ALU and also the Babolat VS nat gut. I think I read somewhere that he strings it at 71lbs, but I''ll have to double check and also check on how his racket is weighted. However, as with all pros I'm sure he strings and weights it differently depending on the surface he's playing on (and possibly depending on the temp and humidity as well) so I don't know if I'll be able to find out.

71, Whhhuufff! That's up there. No wonder he swings at it like a Tarzan. Now you mention it I think you're right on the poly / gut hybrid ... rings a bell somewhere. Cheers.

Yonex Ultimum RD Ti-80. I know he's using Alu in a hybrid, but I wasn't sure what the other string was, but s.o.p88 is probably right.
