    Hi,
    I'm looking for a racket with that is similar to the pure drive but doesn't have the similar price. Im looking for one with a lower price stick that is a wilson or prince. I want to get 2 or 3. I'm open for suggestions.

    Do you think this one would be good? http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Prin...RINCE-TTW.html

    @tennis4erybody,

    The closest thing to a PD on the Wilson side is the Juice 100. Personally, I don't think you will like the Blades if you love the Pure Drive -- that's just my own experience. The Blades provide more of a control oriented experience. But you can always demo it and see what you think!

    A couple others you may want to check out: Donnay Formula 100, Dunlop F5.0 Tour.

    My wife uses the Prince EX03 Warrior, which she loves. Probaly the closest thing Prince has to a Pure Drive.

    Check out the O3 Speedport Black for $99. Similar to the older Pure Drive GT. Higher swingweight than the current Pure Drive.

    I personally don't have a Prince to recommend, the beams and stiffnesses are so different that I just haven't found anything in their current lineup of racquets that matches with the PD.

    There would be only the Instinct close in terms of specs. I find Head frames don't play that powerfully given their headsize and stiffness.

    TFlash 315 SpeedFlex might be good. You might be able to find mint condition used racket for much less $$$.

    Does anyone have any thoughts on the Slazenger Pro Braided and does it play similar to the PD 2012 at all? I need an alternative as well and this is currently on sale during happy hour so a quick reply would be extremely appreciated!

    The PD will have more power

    From our experience at TW, the Pro Braided has a slightly more anemic upper hoop, meaning it is a bit less responsive there than the Pure Drive (so the sweet spot might feel smaller to you on this one).

    However, they are both great racquets! Just a different feeling racquet than the Pure Drive and definitely not as powerful of a response.
