Never experienced the PD+ but played the standard version some years ago (before they re-named it into PD Team), successor was Prince Warrior MP and now I am playing the Volkl Tour 9VE 16/19 since December.

To comprehend it, this stick is far more better for me because my experience in playing tennis increased during the years and the Volkl offers a far more control orientated power than the Babolat. My opinion is, the longer you play a PD or PD+ the more it will ruin your swing or your capability to play tennis by your own, not by your racquet.

    Hope this helps,

    gd!

If the serve and baseline bashing are your game, then you may want to stick with the PD+.

That said, I think the T9VE is a better all around racquet. Plenty of controllable power, more manuverable and much more solid and comfortable than the PD+.

Have you had a chance to hit with it at all? If not, you should demo it but it will feel quite different. Give yourself a week to settle in to it and you'll either say, "no, this isn't for me", or you'll be hooked.

that is my style of game as well. if you think that you can handle a little more weight, demo the 10mpve as well. plenty of zip here too, tho i string it on the lower-middle range. also note that the 9ve has 2 different frames 16x19 and 18x20. good luck!

The Tour 9 will provide you with controllable power. Easy access to spin too. My volleys improved when using this racquet, could be a coincedence or the racquet is great at volleys.
