Like all other Head racquets from this era, the grommets have disintegrated, but my impatience caused me to tell my stringer to string it up anyways. I'm awaiting my CAP replacement, but is there a serious performance detriment regarding my strokes/game-play?
Or is it simply that the string will break sooner due to rubbing against the frame but everything else is the same? Thanks in advance!

It will probably feel a little bit different other than the strings breaking faster.

My old speedport black could be strung with or without grommet inserts and it definitely felt different.

I can not comment on good condition grommets on graphite pro but comparing broken grommets to CAP's it very different.

The strings will dig into your frame and damage it. I have had similar experiences with the Graphite Master (teal) and Comp Master. You need to get your grommets sorted first.
