Is Mark Philippousis ever going to come back to the ATP? He's still capable of hanging around the top 150, and I saw him playing on the OCS circuit. I really don't know if I should ask this question either, since he's also pretty old.

I've also heard he is trying to make a comeback next year. Theres still a few years left in him to be competitive again. The faster courts of next year's AO should suit him well. Go S&V.

He looked like a ****-poor junior vs McEnroe.
He'll have trouble keeping his ranking at 1150 if that keeps up.

True I suppose you got me there
with Philippousisis its kind of a love-hate thing

I'd like to see him come back because he's got a lot of talent
on the other hand he has really annoyed me over the years becuase of the way he has acted

I doubt he would even be a top 100 player anymore. Time to move on with life and to his reality TV life.

A few days ago I read an article that said he will have a protected ranking of 112 when he returns. It said the AO will give him a wildcard, under the condition that he participates in the wildcard playoff versus other lower ranked Aussie players, but that they'll give him the wildcard even if he loses that, and they will give an additional wildcard to the wildcard winner. But Phillippouses said he doesnt plan on playing in the wildcard playoff. So I don't know what will happen.

He certainly likes to do things his own way... often to his own detriment, he should play the wildcard play off if he does get a wild card he will need the match practice to make the most of it... seems like common sense to me. He has a good couple of years left with that big serve top 50 is not out of the question.
