Caught some of the Murray-Verdasco match, but had great seats for Nadal-Djokovic, around photo 59 i discover the high speed sequential setting on my camera and the rest is history. As the match ended we got to see the Bryans come out for practice.

Enjoy...Warm up videos, Novak bouncing the ball 12 times, and some rally videos will come up shortly if i don't start getting drunk too soon.

Look hard enough you will also find my photos from Cincinnati as well if you feel adventurous.

    Great, thanks.

As a suggestion, pictures from the surroundings or players while off the court would be interesting also, since the rest is captured by movie cameras.
I know it's not easy though.

I didn't use flash, just had to sit reallll still...

It's a good suggestion, and something i don't do much, but I'm no pro, i just showed up, snapped some photos and shared em.

Using the flash is pointless. First of all, in all likelihood your flash is not strong enough to reach the court unless you use an industrial strength lamp. Secondly, the arena is superbly lit. I shot without flash from way behind and got fully lit pictures.

my cameras only a simpleton digital one, and on occasion if i didnt use flash i couldnt get much. plus, whenever i was trying to take a pic without flash, the orange light would come on, and the people in front of me were asked to stop as their cameras had the light come on as well. anyway, more importantly, what did you guys think of the place? i loved the practice court in the middle, and the atmosphere inside was like nothing else!

    heres my photos

How new is it? I have heard about how cities like NY are starting to do it too.

thanks guys; we couldn't believe it when we got in and just kept going lower and lower to find our seats!! it was literally the best atmosphere, and i think almost equals ballboying for fed, nad and djoko at dubai '07. ill try upload some more later on; just a quick question tyrus, how did you do the photo album on picasa, i could only upload five at a time and they didnt seem to do anything when i clicked upload? thanks anyway

You can download Picasa software and it basically finds all your photos the way you organized it on your computer and you can upload with that, much more efficient.

I really liked the view from the near corner, as provides a great perspective of the match, and my seat was high enough to see both sides of the net, but low enough to see the ball going closely over the net, great stuff!

Yea, it's definitely two different worlds, when you're high and behind the court, you can really see the angles they're hitting and more easily follow the rallys, but you have a hard time seeing depth and pace (slices looked like drop shots almost). Low and on courtside you can really notice pace, spin and depth, but lose the angles and rallys. I don't think there is a single bad seat in the house except for the nosebleeds, which i would venture to bet they weren't half bad.

just uploaded rest of mine to picasa; check them out. great pics btw jimbo! i think pretty much every seat was good, unless, like tyrus said, the "nosebleeders"! with ours, when you saw fed slice a ball, it was difficult to see how you could do anything with it at all; it was so low and deep. you really get a better idea of just how good these guys are when you see them live.
