PHT 16 or PHT 17

Hi guys, I'm new in this forum!!!!
i'm wonder if anyone can help me with the PHT for my main string. I useing Head MG Prestige mid. I have been useing CF 17g main 53lbs/ PSGD 16g 56lbs cross for a while. I'm planning to change CF to PHT. which gauge should i choose??

1.Do you think it's really different if I use PHT 16g?

2. I always strung CF 17G on main around 53 lbs, what tension should i put on the PhT 16g or 17G?

Prestige mid has very dense string pattern so i suggest staying in 17 gauge. In my experience PHT looses quikly some tension and then kind of settles down. I would string it at the same tension as the crosses, but there might be different opinions as well.

get the 17 and it is way stiffer than cyber flash so i suggest tensioning one or two pounds less.

the stiffness ratings of these are as follow

PHT 16 -270
PHT 17 - 256
CF 17 - 240

i think you should string it 2 pounds less
