Is it Mid or MP?
It looked like max 93" head size. So it could be YP Mid or some pro stock version. Would be very logical since I remember him playing with Yonex RDX-500 Mid (90" head size)
He played with PJ'd PC600's earlier in his career and he even had Völkl's at some stage in his career. My guess would be PC600 under the PJ.
It's totally a donnay pure roddick extreme.
It looks like a Yonex under the PJ. I thought PIM PIM retired, anyway.
What a traitor!
He played the Challenger in Bergamo with the Yonex RDX 500 and now with HEAD?
It may as well be Sod's racket, since they trained together for the DC and who knows if He didn't have enough rackets??
He recently tweeted that yonex sticks were for girls ands trolls. That may explain the switch.
hahaha, good one, but you still can't play them, due to technique level, stick with Babocrap or Dumblop, they are made for beginners, LOL.
I actually switched to a Wilson I saw in Wal Mart. It has Federer on the cover and says he uses it, so it must be good. It is also very light, so I know I will be able to hit just like him now. Best part is that it was only $35...who knew such quality was so inexpensive. I feel bad for you spending all your money like that on Yonsux when you could have this GROAT that I wield everyday now.
I think i'll get a couple since Wal-Mart can't sell Yonex due to its high class status.
But Yo nex boy.
Walmart has a new policy where you must present your USTA card with a rating over 4.5 to even look at the Wilson GROAT. So make sure you bring that with you because it's a long ride home to get it.
It is a head racket 18x20, I saw some pictures on DC web.
I hope He comes back and play some more years.
He fired a 150 mph ace today in the middle of his 33.
He's been one of my fav players for a long time, too bad He had so many injuries, other wise He would've won multiple majors and Yonex wouldn't have discontinued the 90 in frames
Yes, but his "RDX 500 mid" may have been completely different from the retail one. At least it had 18x20 strings instead of 16x18.
He is using HEAD PTwhatever 18x20. You can see the CAP Grommets...
He may have used the Yonex RD Ti 70 88in which had 18x20, same used by Krajicek at one point.
Pim Pim had used the RDX500 with 18x20 drill pattern while with Yonex. Pim Pim is back to his trusty Prestige Classic 600.
Let's play a match. Please.
Technically, the actual traitorous act may have been his previous switch to Yonex, since he used the Head Prestige Classic 600 in the pic BEFORE he used the RDX 500
Of course I wasn't serious, but I am just glad He is back, he and Fed were my favorite players back then.
