"How's difference between PK redondo 93 and Laver 93?"

    Are they classic racquet?
    How's about their feel?
How's about their worth and which one is better?

    Thanks a lot,
    Yuth

I've had the Redondo 93/98 and the Laver Type C 98. Are they classics in the sense of a Prestige/Pro Staff? I wouldn't say they're as 'collectible' but don't let that stop you, they're really good hits. The Laver is stiffer than the Redondo; it's like the Laver is comparable to an i.Prestige while the Redondo is closer to a Prestige Classic (in terms of flex). Better depends on what you want in a racquet; I prefer slightly more flex so I'd choose the Redondo.

Where's Anirut to chime in...he's a PK expert IIRC...

    No.
They're far too recent to be even remotely considered 'classics'.

For sure the Redondo is flexier than the Laver.

In terms of feel, I would say the Laver has a muted feel whereas the Redondo feels "raw".

The Redondo is more headlight making it easier to create racket head speed. It feels like there is more weight distributed in the throat area of the Laver which lends itself to a heavier ball provided there is enough swingspeed.

Strangely enough, I've heard people touting both of these sticks as worthy replacements for the original Prestige.

Never hit with either but they're two of the nicest paintjobs of any recent racquet I've seen.

the laver (frameshape) IS an almost exact prestige classic clone, not sure how it hits.
