I have read many posts concerning the weight/balance properties of the many variations of the POG OS. I was wondering how the various forms of the racket translated into playability- which version of the racket is regarded as the "best" for baseliners and how does the current "tour" model which I have heard is soon to be resurrected fit into this lineage?

The "Tour" version OS is reported to be less head light. We don't know about the soon to be resurrected "Tour" rackets yet. They could be different.

The early version 1 stripe (no bumper) is quite a beast and very head light. The later version 1 stripe (with bumper) weights over 13oz and only if you can handle this weight, still very head light though. Then the next version is the 4 stripe, weights between 12-12.5oz and is very head light, could be a good choice for you.
