Does anybody know how long you should wait after wisdom teeth extraction to get back on the court? I had four taken out Friday. There were no complications or anything. And I'm itching to play, but don't want to hurt myself.

Thanks, not what I wanted to hear as I've had to be out a lot this summer, but I realize it's for the better.

LOL, dont take my advice, but I'll tell you my adventure after my wisdom tooth was extracted. Okay, i played tennis as early as 2hrs after my extraction. The courts are a block away from my house and i couldnt resist temptation. I did minor rallies, but no serious games. Just make sure you bring your pain killers. When they wear out, it's a ....peach...

i remember being in good spirits after my wisdom teeth were pulled. i'd wait at least a day for the bleeding to really stop and the anesthesia to leave your body. but i'm not a doctor.

ps. don't return any serves with your face:)

As far as I know three days at the most. You don't want to do anything physically strenuous which causes the blood to speed up on course until the gums have had a chance to scab over somewhat. Everyone is different, but my dentist said unless you have thin blood, three days is sufficient. Hope this helps (it states three to five days)...

actaully just a few monthes ago i tried hitting when i got 2 wisdom teeth out. i was hitting terribly, the tylenol-3 really takes a toll on your coordination even though you dont realize it doing every day activities
