I'm going to head to Paris in September or early October for vacation and would like to play tennis on clay while I am there. I will be located in central Paris and will be staying for two weeks. Does anyone know of any clubs I can go to and pay to play with a hitting partner or pro. It would be great to find a hitting partner/pro before I leave and then we can set a schedule. I will not have a car so I would have to use taxi's or public transportation to get to the courts. Also, what is the going rate per hour for court time and a hitting partner Thanks for your help!

hope this helps. 20 years ago, I was a Paris regular. There are a few public courts. If I remember the addresses, I will edit this post.

Check out this past thread - look at my post no.7 - I listed ALL of the current public courts and surfaces. Lenglen Tennis Ctr has the most courts and players/pros.

You also have a good number of private facilities in and around Paris - issues are court time can be very limited and guests most often not welcome - as the weather changes the tennis goes indoor and it gets really really tight for court time in the city.
