    Hi,

I've been thinking of buying a stringing machine for a while and finally have decided to get one. I've been stringing for a bit with Neos 1000 (great machine) at local tennis shop. I wanted to get a Neos at home, but the machine is quite pricey so I'm hoping to look for an alternative.

What I'm looking for in a machine are (ideally speaking):
    - crank pull
    - not a table top
    - gliding clamp
    - 2-point mounting
    - less than $1000 (hopefully close to $500)

I've been looking at Mutual Power Alpine 6600. Although it's not a 2-point mount (like Neos 1000), it seems pretty decent.

Do any of you guys have good suggestions?

    Thanks,

Your best bet is the Neos for $100 more.

Yeah, shoot for the Neos. You won't be disappointed.

Also, you could look into the Eag-300 by Eagnas. Eagnas is a gamble when it comes to customer service and quality. There are a few threads active debating the Eag-300.

Thanks. Eag-300 looks decent on their webpage. I'll try to read some of the threads about Eag-300.
