POG Copy made by Slazenger?

    If you look at Pacific Brands.com.au you will see Slazenger in Australia have released a POG copy called the "Classic". It is 100% graphite, 98sqin head, and has the stabiliser bar. I'd like to see one in the flesh.

    A lot of people complained about why they didn't make a regular length POG with 98 headsize. Too bad the weight on that is 280 grams...

    There have been numerous POG clones released over the years by racquet manufacturers. Each usually has a subtle variation that they feel improves on the stock POG. Check out the Gamma IPEX 7.0 on TW's site for an example. Gamma has made a number of POG clones. I use to play the Dunlop Select Pro which was almost identical to the POG except they dropped the throat bar which gave it more flex and even better control than the POG.
