Point formats for singles...

    Sometimes when you do not want to play regular singles sets or tie-breakers,
    we play tie-breakers where only 1 serves, use 11-7 format (server keeps serving until he reaches to 11 before receiver gets 7)...
    so wondering if anyone else use such weird formats :)...
    if so, what are your favorite point formats?

    I've used a format where one player serves 10 points and then the other player serves 10 points, repeat.

    Your format assumes a certain differential in server's points to receiver's points that may or may not actually exist. OTOH, if one person just wants to practice returning then it's good.

    Game to 15 using side-out scoring (like old school volleyball)
    Game to 21 change servers every 5 points (like old school ping pong)
