new Polish hero trashes experienced guys from the tour. it's JERZY JANOWICZ.
funny that he has JJ sign on his socks.
continuously feeding more than 220 km / h makes the surrender of professionals.
was glad to observe such an aggressive player by own eyes

    How old is he?
Is he Isner/Karlovic type of player?

I feel like I just watched him, but he was named Kevin Anderson. Most boring tennis ever..minimum 3 free points per serve game. The ol' Karlovic treatment...get outplayed but serve your way through a tiebreak.

    FYI:
    world top 5 junior
    two junior grand slam finals
He's got cool head on his shoulders and he is believing now he can beat top players if he is on top of his game.
If his body withstands the pressure and he improves concentration - top twenty next year!
    P.S.
Unofficial word speed record on serve (256km/h)
and just for fun start watching at 3:30

Almost 22, if he keeps on working hard he can make something of his career in the next 3 or so years.

Haven't really seen him - is he similar to Raonic? Young, great serve but with better groundies than Isner/Karlo/Quer?

    Rarely, but yeah.

Jerzy is a good player, the part that I like the most is the fact that he is very tall (more than 2 meters, I think) and has a great movement around the court.

    You bet!
But realistically. I think he may not be able to stop butterflys.
This is his biggest match so far.

I'm liking this guy. He seems he's having fun out there. And that serve is a piece of beauty. Only if he volleyed a tad more.... :D
He's tall, but he seems to have a very good build for tennis. And he moves REALLY well for his size.

I hadn't paid much attention to him until recently (when he performed well at SW19), but he's one to look out for. It will be interesting to see how his career progresses.

Agreed. From what I see, he moves even better than Raonic, and though his serve is not quite as good yet, I think his length would give him that same potential. His forehand and backhand seem solid and he's got some good touch. I think for those tall guys these courts aren't the best, even though they help their serves, they have little time to set up. I think he's handling it great

I think its +30 games in a row without facing a break point.
He won both +10 shot rallies in the first set aswell.
    Awesome stuff from Jerry!

A 140 mph first serve with a 115 mph second serve. I'm loving this guy!

He's completely overusing them atm, poor shot selection near the end of the first set.

Another rosol or potential to actually do something more than a one time upset?

I think he has actual potential unlike the former!

LRosol is a good player, but his best surface is clay, not grass or hard courts. Although, he is a good player in slow hard-courts. Let's see the first half of next season.

So as Bellucci last year. Let's wait. The point is that Rosol isn't a "young" player anymore. He is almost 27.

Quite easy to do when the match is fixed and the only good player on the court doesn't care about winning.

Oh, who the heck gives warm handshakes when they've just lost a match they should have won unless the opponent is a close friend like Djokovic and Tipsarevic etc? Federer and Nadal sure as hell don't! Ask Lukas Rosol?

Yep, 2 missed in Tokyo, 5 in Shanghai and now 1 in Bercy. That's 8 in all! I hope he isn't going after some dubious record or something. If he is, it seems to me he may have already set it!

He's 6'8" but you could never tell. He really moves well , has a great ground game, volleys well and can serve as if from a treetop.
