I have aquired a few old school racquets in the past few months and would like to string a few of them up. I have been using a hybrid setup in my newer frames (good multi or syn/poly) and am curious is this would work well in frames such as:

    Puma Becker Winner
    Rossignol F250
    Max 200G, 300i
    even the 6.0 85

or is the flex, power level too low for a poly string? Anybody try poly's/hybrids in older frames? I love the flex, feel of the older frames and the touch that goes along with it unlike the newer frames where is is difficult to play any finesse shots.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't see a problem with poly in any of the frames, considering they used to be strung up with kevlar. I'd guess that a fairly soft poly would work well.
