so i'm going to string my PD with technefibre red code, and have no experience with polys at all. In the past i have always strung with wilson synthetic gut at 62 pounds, any suggestions on what tension i should use in order to have something remotely similar? thanks for the help

Everyone says to string it 10% less.

Yep...10% lower on the current second generation co-polys. They hold their tension very well. The first gen polys lost so much tension that most people strung them at their regular tension because they knew they would drop off quickly. Try 56 lbs with the red code.

10% should be good because poly is generally stiff and low powered. with the added spin, you should not have a problem with keeping the ball in... unless of course you play like me... haha.
