PolyStar is a German string company since 1981. They actually produced the first poly string ever made, PolyStar Classic. Many ATP pros have been using their strings through the years, until today.
They are new in North America, and the preferred player requirements are very fair: info@bigttennis.com

It's true. I was accepted into the preferred-player program even though I've been posting some sub-par results recently. BigT's a great guy, and, to be honest, two of the strings he sells, PolyStar Energy and MSV Focus Hex happen to be my two favorite polys on the planet--I can't decide which one to order! Anyway, the program is highly recommended.

Oh, BigT, I was also wondering, if I do decide to use MSV Focus Hex over Polystar Energy (I'm right at 50-50 at this moment), is there an MSV stencil as well? Thanks again.

I get my PolyStar at tennis string man dot com in the northeast. You can contact them at tennis string man @ aol dot com.

Wouldn't getting a PolyStar preferred player program be much better than buying it through tennis string man dot com?

You can get the preferred player through them also if your ranking is high enough. Great string, more feel that Pro hurricane Tour, more power than SPPP, more comfort than ALU.

Better feel, more power and comfort. Other than PolyStar, the only poly that I like playing with is ALU but after 4-6 months, I would get soreness in my shoulder. Also, ALU sponsorship is only for the top 5 per country which is rather difficult to get unless I was to chase points and actually spend more $$$ than the sponsorship is worth.

^ Have you tried the strings? I wouldn't blindfolded go and get strings just because they give me a good deal.

Bob is the man and knows his stuff like no other; his older brother used to string my frame with Polystar Energy, which is an awesome string.

Speaking of which, Robbie, your dad still strings locally around town, right? I hate going to Sound Shore and plopping 25 a set for ALU to those jackasses over there, my usual guy moved to Innis, and little Grund is too lazy to do it. I need somewhere local to go and it'd be sick if he could get me Polystar or whatever, especially because I pass your house almost every day (I'm at Norwalk for the semester) and it'd be really convenient.

Oh Chris is still home? Could have sworn Doug told me he'd be moving into the city sometime soon. But the only thing is that I don't really know him all that well - he knows Kristen a hell of a lot better than he knows me, could you text me his number or tell him I'm stopping by within a few days?

And you know who I am, right? Just making sure...
